Next winter, construction will begin in earnest on the CTA’s Red-Purple Modernization Project. This multi-year project will bring brand new stations and improved tracks to one of the oldest sections of Chicago’s rail line, including the Lawrence, Argyle, Berwyn, and Bryn Mawr stations. Steep is nestled right next to the Berwyn station, and we’re planning ahead for years of construction and station closures.
