Michael Salinas
Michael was born and raised in and around New Orleans. There, he studied Drama at Loyola University and performed frequently with companies including The Shakespeare Festival at Tulane and Southern Repertory Theatre. In 2005, (with a little help from Katrina) Michael made his way up to Chicago. After a few years of wonderful theatrical and real-life adventures, he decided to give the West Coast a shot. Luckily, before he started packing, he was cast in Steep's Jeff Award-winning production of In Arabia, We'd All be Kings. Because of his experience with that production, he decided that Chicago is freakin' awesome, and hasn't given L.A. a second thought. Not to mention, he has a fantastic day-job/home as an artisan at Lowitz and Co. Handmade Tiles.
He is truly thankful to be a member of the Steep ensemble and looks forward to the late-night pillow fights. |
